National Children's Hospital (NCH)

National Children's Hospital (NCH) which was then known as the Indigent Children's Hospital started operations in February, 1945 and took care of war refugees, particularly sick and undernourished children. Today, it has grown to a 250-bed facility located at 264 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City, Manila.
NCH is a tertiary, specialty training government hospital under the Department of Health (DOH) which caters to children from all parts of the country. Approximately 80% of NCH's patients are needy patients with general pediatric, subspecialty, general pediatric surgical services offered. Highlights of this institution are the Child Development Center, Hydrocephalus Center, Touch Therapy Institute, Pediatric Center for Drug Rehabilitation, PPMD-DOTS. NCH boasts the presence of committed and well-known consultant doctors from various specialties and sub-specialties among its staff.
NCH is equipped with up-to-date equipments, fire protection system, auditorium, adequate ramp for patient transport, library, conference rooms, medical clinics and offices, Wi-Fi Internet access for training and research, multi-purpose hall and newly renovated wards. Regular seminars and trainings are conducted in consortium with various private and government hospitals including medical clerks, interns, residents and fellows.
NCH as a specialty tertiary hospital committed to:
